PADUCAH, KY. – Join us in congratulating Patience Renzulli for raising over $20,000 for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund through the Great Cycle Challenge and placing first in the nation for most funds raised to fight childhood cancer.

Renzulli’s life has been greatly impacted by the disease, losing her mother to cancer at the age of 20, and later losing her sister to cancer as well. Renzulli first purchased her bike for recreation, riding with Paducah’s own Chain Reaction Cycling Club, before becoming aware of the Great Cycle Challenge. Once aware of the challenge, she was motivated to ride for something more.

On June 1, Renzulli began the 2017 Great Cycle Challenge with a mile goal of 500 to ride within 30 days, raising money for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund along the way. Her first fundraising goal was $500, which was quickly exceeded as donations poured in from around the world. In the end, Renzulli rode 530 miles and raised a total of $20,796 for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund – all in 30 days.

Renzulli joined Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC as a Nurse Paralegal in March of 2013, and has been a valuable part of our team ever since.
