Elizabeth Wieneke Selected to Receive Young Lawyer Service to Community Award

PADUCAH, KY. – Elizabeth Ann Wieneke, member of Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC, has been selected to receive the Young Lawyer Service to Community Award within the Young Lawyer’s Divison at the 2016 KBA State Convention that took place in May.

Outside of the office, Elizabeth Wieneke is currently the board secretary and member for the Family Service Society. She is also a past board president and member of Paducah-McCracken County Senior Citizens Center as well as being a past board secretary and member of Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center. Ms. Wieneke donates countless hours to those in need and actively volunteers for United Way and Paducah/McCracken County Relay for Life.

During her years of practice, Ms. Weineke has regularly volunteered her time to present free seminar classes to the community in order to educate the public on the importance of estate planning and elder law issues, and has drafted course materials and spoken at several education seminars statewide. She also participates in the Free Wills for Veterans Program along with volunteering for the Lawyer’s Care Program.

Ms. Wieneke joined Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC as an Associate in August of 2007, shortly after graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Law in May of 2007.  Ms. Wieneke became a Member of the firm in January 2015.
