Mr. Miller is an Alabama native and Murray State graduate who worked in music and banking before earning his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1991.  He served as law clerk to the Hon. U.S. District Judge Edward H. Johnstone from 1992-1994, and practiced with the firm of Sheffer, Hoffman, Thomason and Morton and its successors from 1994-2000.  Mr. Miller joined Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub, PLLC in 2000, where his practice focuses on general civil litigation and consulting with emphasis in business litigation, construction law, insurance defense, and auto rental law, and experience in employment litigation, products liability, fraud, and medical malpractice defense.

Representative clients include ISP International, Inc., A & K Construction, Inc., Ray Black and Son, Inc., Air Relief, Inc., Enterprise Rent-A-Car Company of Kentucky, and Midwestern Insurance Alliance, Inc.  Mr. Miller has also represented several public entities including Murray State University, the Paducah and McCracken County Cable Authorities, the Paducah McCracken County Joint Sewer Agency, and the Lyon County Port Authority. 

Mr. Miller is an appointed member of the Evidence Rules Review Commission for the Supreme Court of Kentucky. Currently, he also serves as President of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra.
