Joe H. Kimmel, III, was born in 1971 in Fairfield, Illinois.  He was graduated by the University of Illinois in 1994 with a B.A. in Economics, and by the University of Arkansas Law School (with honors, Associated Editor, Arkansas Law Review) with a J.D. in 1997.   Thereafter, he was awarded a fellowship with the National Center for Agricultural Law and Information at the University of Arkansas, where he earned a L.L.M. degree in agricultural law in 1998.

His law practice focuses on real estate transactions and estate planning.  He has represented parties in Chapter 12 bankruptcy, entity formation, federal farm program payment limitation planning, appeals to the National Appeals Division of the U.S.D.A., arbitration regarding the National Grain and Feed Association, anti-trust, litigating water rights disputes, claims under the Federal Packers and Stockyards Act, as well as, general commercial advice and litigation.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Agricultural Lawyers Association, the Georgia Bar Association, and the Arkansas Bar Association.  Mr. Kimmel serves on the Board of Directors for the Paducah Day Nursery and the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce.

He is licensed to practice law in Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, and Kentucky.
