Education

Mr. Houston earned a B.A. in History from Murray State University in 1964, and the Jurisprudence Doctorate from Vanderbilt Law School in 1967.

Gary is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel; a member of the McCracken County Bar Association (President 1984-1985), Kentucky Bar Association, and American Bar Association; and is a Fellow of the Kentucky Bar Foundation.

He has presented programs regarding estate planning and probate at numerous legal seminars.  He has been voted as one of the Best Lawyers in America and Kentucky Super Lawyers.  He is a contributing author to the University of Kentucky CLE Practice Handbooks, Kentucky Estate Planning, and Kentucky Estate Administration.
