Ms.Wieneke's practice is focused in the areas of estate planning and administration, elder law, real estate and property law, and business and corporate law.

Ms. Wieneke has attended the following continuing education courses to stay current in her field:
The Real Esate Law and Practice Institute, University of Kentucky College of Law, 2008 and 2010; The Estate Planning Institute, University of Kentucky College of Law, 2008 - 2011; and Estate Planning in Depth, University of Wisconsin, 2010 and 2011.
Ms. Wieneke has facilitated seminars and spoken to various groups throughout the area, in order to educate the community on the importance of estate planning and other elder law topics. Liz has been nominated for the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year by the Paducah Area Business and Professional Women's Organization.
Ms. Wieneke worked in the legal field during her time as an undergraduate at Murray State University. She gained experience during law school as a research assistant to two professors, interning with the Massac County State's Attorney, working at the SIU Elder Clinic, and as a member of the Southern Illinos University Law Journal.
Background
Liz was born and raised in Metropolis, Illinois and now resides in Paducah. She joined the firm as an Associate in August of 2007, soon after graduating from Southern Illinois University School of Law in May of 2007.
Education
Ms. Wieneke earned a B.A. from Murray State University in 2004, with a major in Psychology and minor in Legal Studies (with honors, summa cum laude). While attending Murray State, she was recognized as a member of Psi Chi, the National Psychology Honor Society, and nominated for the Outstanding Pre-Law Student in 2004.
In 2007, Ms. Wieneke earned her Jurisprudence Doctorate from Southern Illinois University (with honors, cum laude). While at SIU, Ms. Wieneke received highest grade honors for Property I and Lawyering Skills II. During one of her assistantships she contributed to and is noted in Property and Custom: Allocating Spaces in Public Places, 79 Temple L. Rev. 199 (2006). During her membership on the SIU Law Journal, Ms. Wieneke served as Articles Editor and authored a case note dealing with the conflicting requirements of the Uniform Commercial Code and the Tax Code notice filing systems entitled Secured or Unsecured?: Analysis of United States v. Crestmark Bank, 412 F.3d 653 (6th Cir. 2005), 31 SIU L. J. 707 (Spring 2007).
Associations and Service
Ms. Wieneke is a member of Zonta International, Paducah Chapter, an organization raising funds and awareness to benefit women and children in need of assistance, and has served as Secretary of that organization. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Paducah-McCracken County Senior Citizens Center and has served as President. Liz is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Merryman House Domestic Crisis Center and has had various officer positions as Board Member, including Vice Chair and Chair elect. Ms. Wieneke has volunteered to teach credit abuse resistance education to local high school seniors for the Lawyer's CARE Program of the Kentucky Bar Foundation. Liz is a recent graduate of the Leadership Paducah Class 24 and assisted with the class project to aid St. Nicholas Family Clinic. Additionally, Liz is active with Relay for Life, has volunteered for United Way and is a regular donor to Family Service Society and Salvation Army.
Ms. Wieneke regularly attends meetings of the Impact Chapter of Business Networking International and local Chamber of Commerce Events.
