JONATHAN R. OLIVER

Mr. Oliver concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation and insurance defense.

He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2002, and is also admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Southern (2003) and Central (2004) Districts of Illinois. 

Mr. Oliver practiced in Illinois for five years before joining Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub in July 2008.  He has considerable and wide-ranging general practice and litigation experience, including insurance defense litigation.

Jonathan was born and raised in Lyon County, Kentucky.  Upon graduation from law school, he entered private practice in Southern and Southeastern Illinois.  In July 2008, he returned to Western Kentucky and joined Whitlow, Roberts, Houston & Straub.

He is a graduate of Murray State University (BA) in 1997 and Southern Illinois University School of Law (J.D.) in 2002.  While at SIU, he served as a member of the Moot Court Board and won several awards at various moot court competitions.

Mr. Oliver is a member of the Illinois and American Bar Associations.
